Am I a good candidate?
Good candidates have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. The CoolSculpting fat reduction procedure is specifically designed for those who have unwanted fat that resists diet and exercise. This treatment is not for everyone, you should not be treated with CoolSculpting Elite if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia, cold aggultinin diseasem or paroxsymal cold hemoglobinuria. Tell your provider if you have any medical conditions including recent surgery, pre-exsisting hernia, and any known sensitivities or allergies.
How long is each session? How many sessions will I need?
We will help you create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals. The length of your CoolSculpting session will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. We may schedule additional sessions in order to meet your goals.
Where does the fat go? Are the results permanent?
CoolScultping Elite effectively targets and freezes fat cells without damaging the skin or surrounding tissues. In the weeks that follow, the body naturally processes and eliminates these dead fat cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good. Many people, after seeing the results from their CoolSculpting procedure, take even better care of themselves. However, if you do gain weight, you may gain it evenly all over your body, not just in the treated areas.
What does it feel like during the treatment?
During your treatment, a fel pad or gel applicator are applied to the targeted area. Applicators that use a vaccum suction will draw the tissue into the applicator cup. Controlled cooling is then delivered to the treatment area. You may feel intense cold or experience sensations of pulling, mild pinching, tingling, stinging, or cramping temporarily. These sensations typically subside within 10 minutes as the area becomes numb. Many patients read or even take a nap during their sessions. Afterward, patients are usually able to return to normal activities.
